With over 25 years of underwriting experience within the London market, Paul has held senior Underwriting and Leadership positions within large Corporates, Lloyd’s syndicates and MGAs.
Paul established Profile Underwriting in 2015. The aim to deliver a specialised Underwriting proposition to brokers combined with a superior service.
Outside of insurance Paul likes to play golf, follow his football team Arsenal and socialise with family and friends.

James joined the Profile team in June 2017 launching the Manchester office and extending Profile’s reach into the regions. James brings over ten years of broking experience to the fold and understands the challenges and tough trading environment brokers face today. James thrives on delivering reliable, unparalleled service and partnering with brokers to equip them with all the tools they need to drive growth.
Away from the world of insurance, James runs for the hills! A keen outdoor adventure seeker, most weekends are spent enjoying the Peaks, Lakes and North Wales.

With 15 years insurance experience Jeremy cut his teeth as a DUA broker and underwriter for large property portfolios, before spending almost 10 years as a respected broker in the specialist high risk contractor’s liability space. Building on his extensive knowledge of industries and processes, in recent times he has worked as an account executive with a London Market broker and MGA.
Cert CII qualified and with a business management degree from the University of Essex, Jeremy returned full circle back to his passion of underwriting and development, joining the Profile team in July 2018. In between underwriting property and casualty risks, Jeremy nurtures broker relationships and develops new agencies with select partners.

Joining Profile Underwriting in March 2019 with over 30 years of experience within the Insurance Company Market, including 14 years at Aviva writing Commercial Property Business and recently 8 years at MS Amlin within the Casualty Team.
Catherine has a strong focus on broker and client relationships together with providing an excellent customer service and experience and recently obtained her IOSH Managing Safely professional qualification.
Outside insurance she enjoys gardening, travel, theatre and using her National Trust and English Heritage memberships.

Rebecca has been underwriting for 8 years and worked within the insurance industry for 20 years - recently within Lloyd’s and London Market as an Underwriter, Broker and Account Handler and therefore has a very good understanding of the challenges that all roles face.
Cert CII qualified and committed to supporting and building relationships with our brokers to achieve a positive result for all, she continues to enjoy all aspects of her career and meeting new people.

Amie has operated in the insurance industry for over 11 years, gaining experience underwriting liability at MS Amlin, initially as an underwriting assistant and ultimately progressing to team leader.
A strong background in underwriting support teams has afforded Amie an invaluable understanding of brokers’ needs, and importantly what is required from underwriters in order to deliver a high standard of service and experience to the client.
Outside the insurance world Amie’s interests include spending time with her family and friends, running and walking her dog.

Steve joined Profile in April 2022 having worked within the London Insurance Market for 20 years for various major Lloyd’s Brokers, where he held authority under Property binders.
His experience gives him a solid understanding of the pressures agents face day-to-day; he will be looking to use this insight to develop new and existing relationships, with a focus on delivering excellent service and support.
In his spare time Steve plays football for his local team, Leigh Town F.C., supports Arsenal, and is an avid gamer.

Scott joined Profile Underwriting in July 2018 with 4 years of experience within the Insurance Company Market, having started his career at NFU Mutual as an Insurance Sales Adviser dealing with personal insurance products.

Having started his insurance journey in 2018 as an administrator within a Lloyd’s Broker & MGA, Adam progressed to managing a diverse portfolio of commercial clients of all classes. More recently he continued as an Account Handler within a regional broker, assisting Account Execs with the day to day running of a book of commercial clients, with a bias towards specialist engineering risks.
Joining us in March 2024 as a Commercial Underwriter, Adam intends to build upon his Certificate in Insurance qualification, with further CII studies.
Outside work Adam is an avid supporter of Tottenham Hotspur and likes to embark on adventures to exotic destinations when on annual leave.

Russell joined Profile Underwriting in March 2024 as the Finance Manager. He is a CIMA fully qualified Management Accountant with over 20 years’ finance experience working within the Insurance and Professional Services industries. As a finance professional Russell is most happy when his journals balance, month end runs smoothly, and year end is complete.
In his downtime Russell enjoys endurance sports especially triathlons and can often be seen running and cycling the lanes of Essex. Also to relax he enjoys going to the theatre and spending time with friends and family.

Jacqui joined Profile Underwriting in January 2022 with over 26 years insurance experience in finance roles. Jacqui started her career at RSA before taking a short break to fulfil her dream of setting up and running her own sandwich shop business returning to the insurance industry in 2011 with spells at LV and then Citynet Insurance Brokers. Jacqui is currently studying to become a fully qualified accountant.

Adam started his insurance career in 2013 as an apprentice and quickly progressed to supervisory role, gaining diplomas in both customer service and management. He then went on to expand his technical knowledge handling commercial claims for Gallagher Bassett. Most recently he spent 3 years at QBE where he further developed his skills within credit control, forging strong relationships with brokers nationwide and in the London Market. Adam is excited for the journey at Profile ahead and looks forward to building his career as a Credit Controller and progressing with CII qualifications.

Having started her insurance journey in 2007 as a support technician with Highway Insurance (LV) Bryony developed her skills in the personal lines space. This progressed to various technical roles including training new teams and new starters. With a thirst for knowledge and eye for detail she ultimately progressed to Assistant Technical Underwriter. Bryony has completed her Cert. CII qualification.
After a short career break, in which she raised her daughter, Bryony joined Profile in January 2023, and is eager to learn, develop and apply her skills into commercial insurance.
During her spare time, she loves being with her family making memories and has recently taken up pole fitness.

Having graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2018 with a first-class degree in English Literature, and initially working at AQA as a team coordinator, Mel made the leap to the insurance industry, having spent the last two years as a renewal administrator with Hiscox.
With the opportunity to build new business skills, develop relationships, contribute to the growth of the business, and complete the Cert CII qualification, Mel is excited for her new role as a Profile Assistant Underwriter.
When not working Mel likes to stay active, with hobbies including spending time in nature, such as walking/hiking, attempting to complete the Great Munro Challenge, and is proud to have recently scaled Ben Nevis!
